MakTeD Young Researcher Fund is available for MakTeD members of age 35 or less for attending IFToMM affiliated events (conferences, summer schools, etc.). Annual fund budget is determined by the MakTeD Executive Board and the board decides on the recipients and amount of the fund. Researchers and institutions applying for the first time have priority. A recipient can have at most 250 USD for events in Europe and western Asia; 500 USD for North/South America, Eastern Asia and Australia. IFToMM Young Delegates Program recipients cannot apply for the MakTeD Fund. The applicant is obliged to inform the Executive Board about any extra support that is not mentioned during the application and return the fund if necessary. The recepients receive the fund after the event when they submit the participation documents to the Executive Board.The following should be attached to the application form (in Turkish, right click the link and select save link as):
– CV mentioning date of birth
– A letter from supervisor mentioning that the funds are not available insufficient for supporting participation to the event
– A recommendation letter from academic advisor or supervisor
– Budget estimate for expenses
– The first page of the paper to be presented (if exists)
